  1. Start cooking the Rice
  2. While the Rice is cooking fry the Bacon in a large skillet until crisp. Remove the bacon from the pan and allow to drain on a paper towel
  3. While the Rice and Bacon are cooking start cooking the Sausage. Cook until browned then remove from heat
  4. While the Rice, Bacon and Sausage are cooking dice the Bell Peppers and the Onions. After you remove the Bacon from the pan to drain add the diced Bell Peppers and Onions to the skillet and brown them in the bacon fat
  5. Once the Bell Peppers and Onions are browned add the Diced Tomatoes, Tomato Sauce, Sausage and the Bacon (crumbled). Mix well to fully combine
  6. Move the cooked Rice and the mixture from the Skillet to a large bowl and combine well. Pour this combined mix into a greased casserole. Sprinkle the top lightly with Parmesan Cheese. Bake at 325 for 30 minutes
Recipe Notes

In place of the Sausage you could substitute cooked Shrimp, Pork, Ham, etc...

You could also use regular sausage in place of the Hot Italian if this is too much heat for you.
