  1. Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat. Slowly sift in the flour while whisking to to form a roux.
  2. Add the Chicken Stock, Poultry Seasoning, Black Pepper and Salt. Bring to a slow boil then turn down the heat and add the Heavy Cream
Recipe Notes

If you have some cooked Chicken or Turkey meat available it is nice to add about a 1/4-1/2 Cup of shredded meat to the gravy in the step before adding the Heavy Cream.

For a Beef Gravy substitute Beef Stock for the Chicken Stock and in place of the Poultry Seasoning use some Granulated Beef Bouillon. you could also add some mushrooms to the gravy in the step before adding the Heavy Cream
