This was another quick recipe to use up some pantry items
Italian Sausage Mozzarella Sauce with Pasta
Crumble the Hot Italian Sausage and brown it in a skillet over Medium-High heat. Once cooked move the Sausage to a holding plate
Add the Onion and Garlic to the skillet. Cook in the oil from the Sausage until the Onion is golden brown
Lower the heat to Medium and stir in the Marinara Sauce.
Return the Sausage to the skillet and stir well to combine.
Stir in the Parsley and allow to simmer for 10 minutes. Add some of the water from your cooking Pasta if the sauce is too thick
Add the cubed Mozzarella and stir into the Sauce and allow the cheese to begin to melt
Serve the sauce over the Pasta of your choice and garnish with the Basil
