Bacon
  1. Preheat oven to 365. Arrange a package of Bacon on a sheet pan (lined with foil) and cook in the oven for 20-30 minutes until crisp
  2. Carefully remove the bacon to a paper towel to drain and then pour off the clear bacon fat to reserve
  3. When the bacon has cooled crumble up 4-5 slices.
Dressing
  1. In a medium size mixing bowl whisk together the Apple Cider Vinegar, Buttermilk, Honey, Bacon Fat, Garlic, Shallots, Salt and Pepper
Salad
  1. In a large mixing bowl add the Broccoli florets, Crumbled Bacon, Toasted Almonds, Dried Cranberries and Red Onion.
  2. Pour the dressing over the Salad and toss gently. Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.
